Personal

Not much today.

I'm still thinking about those Army MDs that refused to examine those burned kids. I'm not ready to write about it yet, though. I note the continuing descent into guerilla warfare that is Iraq and am appalled, but there's not much to say about it at this point. "I told you so" just doesn't do it for me. I'm also sickened by Frist's introduction of the Homophobia Amendment in the Senate and I'll probably have more to say about that later.

In the meantime, though, I'm thinking about my upcoming interview in San Jose with a small startup that is rising from the ashes of a dead dotcom. Hopefully this will result in a job offer. Optimally, it will also mean that I don't have to move, but can telecommute most of the time.

Finally, I can't believe that June is over already! How the hell did that happen?
