A new way to promote a new blog.
Eugene Volokh at The Volokh Conspiracy points us at a new project at The Truth Laid Bear: Microbes on Parade: The New Weblog Showcase. It's a project to allow new bloggers to get more exposure than they normally would. The winner of the weekly "vote" (actually a count of how many links the article received that week) gets listed at the top of the Ecosystem page. This is a pretty cool way to promote a new weblog. Only blogs started after March 4, 2003 are eligible. Having started this one on March 27 (as a direct result of the Iraq invasion), I submitted it for next week's Showcase. If you have a new weblog, go for it!
