Howard Rosenberg on Ed Gernon.

Howard Rosenberg has an opinion piece in the LA Times about Ed Gernon, the executive producer of the CBS series "Hitler:" Los Angeles Times: He fought our fear, and the fear won.

Gernon was fired by Alliance Atlantis apparently at the behest of CBS when he said, in an interview in "TV Guide," that current conditions in the US resemble those in pre-WWII Germany. He said that "when an entire country becomes afraid for their sovereignty, for their safety," Gernon added, "they will embrace ideas and strategies and positions that they might not embrace otherwise." Gernon made several other good points in that article and he is certainly in a good position to judge, as the CBS show apparently focuses on the circumstances in Germany that led to Hitler's rise to power. As Rosenberg says:

If anyone is expert on the tone and content of "Hitler: The Rise of Evil," it's Gernon, who more than anyone has shaped it since its controversial inception, when a first draft of the shooting script was loudly accused by Jewish activists of being soft on Hitler.

Of course, CBS, trembling in fear of the consequences of speaking out, fired Gernon and distanced themselves from his assertions. And so we repeat history.

Well, of course he was fired!! After all, CBS, NBC, and ABC are all owned and manipulated by members of the Bilderberg's, Trilateral Commission, CFR, Illuminati, and Skull & Bones members! They don't want the truth to be known by the American people about THEIR plans for a NEW WORLD ORDER! How conincidental that 60 years ago another man was preaching the same EXACT words about a NEW WORLD ORDER! His name, Adolf Hitler... Addda Addda Addda that's all folks!!!

To compare Bush to Hitler is foolish. Hitler was truly a genius...misguided perhaps, but a genius. Hitler was actually a genius with a plan...a misguided and bad plan, but a plan nonethless. W is no genius. He has no plan. I think we do Hitler a disservice by comparing this idiot to him. If we disagree with W and his gang of thugs and bullies, then talk to your friends and relatives. Get them to vote for a Democrat, any Democrat, and push this "sasparilla swillin'" cowboy out of the White House and back into the outhouse where he came from. The system can work. The founding fathers were smarter than any of these jerks that are around today. VOTE and work for change! Thanks!
